Change Order No. 6 for the Plainfield Road (Black - Center) Water Main improvements Project to Trine Construction Corp in the amount of $46,800.76

BACKGROUND:
On January 17, 2023, the Mayor and City Council awarded a Contract for the Plainfield Road (Black-Center) Water Main Improvements Project, in the amount of $4,792,653.07, on behalf of Trine Construction Corp, based on the Unit Prices provided in their bid. Subsequently, Change Orders Nos. 1-5 have been approved for a net increase of $215,962.70. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
Change Order No. 6, a net addition in the amount of $46,800.76, is for the following work:
• Additional 1” water service connection to water main and curb stop, 1-inch
• Additional 1” water service line open cut, 1-inch
• Additional 1” water service line directional drill, 1-inch
Sufficient funds are available for this project in the Water Main Replacement Fund (Org 53880000, Object 557200, $46,800.76).

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve Change Order No. 6 to the contract for the Plainfield Road (Black-Center) Water Main Improvements Project, in the amount of $46,800.76, on behalf of Trine Construction Corp.
