Agreement for Joliet Route 66 Centennial Directional Wayside Sign Exhibit Project
end

BACKGROUND:
The City of Joliet, Great Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau, and Ace Sign Company seek to enter into an agreement for the installation and maintenance of a new directional "Wayside" sign at Route 66 Park at the Broadway Street Greenway. The Great Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau will fund the project, the City will manage approvals and maintenance, and the Contractor will handle the design and installation.

CONCLUSION:
This agreement outlines the parties' rights and responsibilities with respect to the installation, maintenance, and ownership of the Route 66 "Wayside" sign project. The Tourism Bureau will fund the project, the City will manage approvals and maintenance, and the Contractor will handle the design and installation. The project is expected to enhance the City's tourism efforts and provide valuable information to visitors along Route 66. Additionally, the agreement will bring several benefits to the City, including increased tourism, economic growth, and ...
