Change Order No. 1 for the 2023 Sidewalk / Curb Replacement Project - Contract D to Austin Tyler Construction Inc. Reducing the amount of ($450.00)

BACKGROUND:
On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, the Mayor and City Council awarded the 2023 Sidewalk / Curb Replacement Project - Contract D, in the amount of $297,190.00, to Austin Tyler Construction Inc. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
Change Order No. 1, a net deduction in the amount of ($450.00), is the result of the following:
1) Deduction due to less property owner participation than anticipated.
2) Replacing PCC driveway entrances at 150 W. Washington City parking lot.
Change Order No. 1 reflects a reduction in contribution from the General Fund PW / Repairs & Maintenance Fund (Org 10090000, Object 524300, ($450.00)).

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council take the
following actions:
1) Approve Change Order No. 1, to the contract for the 2023 Sidewalk / Curb Replacement Project - Contract-D, a net reduction in the amount of ($450.00), on behalf of Austin Tyler Construction Inc.
