Amendment No. 1 for the Professional Servies Agreement for the Phase III Engineering Services for the Chicago Street Sidewalk Vault Contract 2 to Civiltech Engineering Inc. in an amount not to exceed $42,630.00

BACKGROUND:
In advance of the proposed 2024 Streetscape Improvements on Chicago Street, stabilization work will be completed on existing sidewalk vaults to ensure safe pedestrian access to businesses during mainline construction activities. This amendment extends phase III engineering professional services thru June to cover additional vault work. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
The services will be increased utilizing the time and material rates as submitted at a total cost not to exceed $42,630.00.
Sufficient funds are available utilizing Capital Funds (Org 30090270, Object 557200, $42,630.00).

Based on the above, the Administration recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement for the Phase III Engineering Services for the Chicago Street Vault Contract 2, to Civiltech Engineering Inc., in an amount not to exceed $42,630.00.
