Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement for the Storm Sewer GIS Mapping Project Contract 2 to TWIG Technologies in the amount of $186,025.00
end
BACKGROUND:
The Public Utilities Department is continuing a multiyear effort to survey and map the City’s entire storm sewer system. On August 1, 2023, the Mayor and City Council approved a Professional Services Agreement with TWIG Technologies (formerly Ruettiger, Tonelli & Associates) for Contract 2 in the amount of $220,000.00. Work included GPS surveying, elevation measurements, and office GIS mapping. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
Amendment No. 1 will provide for the following additional work:
• Extend the project westward to County Line Road (refer to map exhibit).
• Provide for additional mapping of storm structures outside the public street right-of-way in the original contract area.
Proposals were received for Contract 1 of this program in 2023 and TWIG Technologies was the low proposer. TWIG Technologies has agreed to hold their unit prices from the 2023 contract.
Sufficient funds exist utilizing the Water & Sewer Operating Fund / Engineering Administration / Professional Services (Org 50080013, Object 523300, $186,025.00).
RECOMMENDATION:
