Amendment No. 1 for the Phase III Engineering Services for the Garnsey Avenue Bridge over Spring Creek Improvement Project MFT Section No. 11-00433-00-BR to Willett, Hofmann & Associates in the amount of $71,829.00

BACKGROUND:
At the June 2, 2020, Council Meeting, the Mayor and City Council awarded an Engineering Services Agreement for Phase III Engineering for the Garnsey Avenue Bridge over Spring Creek Improvement Project, in the amount not to exceed $242,128.38, to Willett, Hofmann & Associates. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
Amendment No. 1, a net addition in the amount of $71,829.00, is needed for additional material testing & additional man hours due to unforeseen existing site conditions, and additional project requirements requested by IDOT.
Sufficient funds exist utilizing the Motor Fuel Tax Fund / Infrastructure (Org 20090270, Object 557200, $71,829.00).

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve Amendment No. 1, a net addition in the amount of $71,829.00, on behalf of Willett, Hofmann & Associates.
