Resolution Declaring Property of the City of Joliet as Surplus

BACKGROUND:
The Tri County Motor Vehicle Theft Taskforce will be trading in 7 older vehicles and purchasing two new vehicles. The 7 older vehicles were purchased with grant funds and the new vehicles will be purchased with grant funds. Since Tri-County is not a legal entity, the grant and vehicles are through the City of Joliet. This resolution authorized the surplus and trade in of the older vehicles on the purchase of the two new vehicles.
Finance Committee reviewed this item on May 21, 2024 and recommended it approval.
