2025 Budget Discussion

BACKGROUND:
The 2025 budget process was officially started on June 3, 2024. This is the same timeframe we used during the 2024 budget. The early start allows staff, elected officials, and the community to dedicate the time it needs to ensure the outcome is a fiscally responsible budget. Just like the early start, we are continuing many of the improvements made during the 2024 budget process.
RECOMMENDATION:

Finance Department Staff will use the discussion at the June 18, 2024, Finance Committee meeting as a guide to compiling the draft 2025 budget for submission to the City Manager.
