Award of Contract for the South Center Street Manhole Repair Project to Austin Tyler Construction, Inc. in the amount of $42,000.00

BACKGROUND:
A manhole along the curb line of South Center Street has been damaged by vehicular traffic and has deteriorated due to erosion, creating a hazardous roadway condition.
This project includes removal and reinstallation of the manhole and adjacent pavement, curb, and median section affected by damage as well as backfilling the cavity beneath the road to protect road integrity and ensure vehicular safety. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
On July 18, 2024, at 4:00 P.M., three (3) quotes were electronically received for the South Center Street Manhole Repair Project. The quote summary is as follows:
