Ordinance Amending the 2024 Annual Budget for the City of Joliet

BACKGROUND:
After adoption of the 2024 annual budget, the City received $728,000 in funding for a number of public safety expenditures. For these funds to be spent, the budget will need to be amended. This ordinance amends the budget for the following expenditures in the Grant Fund:
Most of these items will need council approval for the actual purchases to occur. The armored vehicle is currently scheduled for the September 3, 2024 council meeting.
