Resolution to Adopt the Annual Action Plan for Community Development Block Grant Program Year 2024

BACKGROUND:
The Annual Action Plan, a requirement to receive federal allocations of Community Development Grant (CDBG) funds, was submitted to HUD on August 13, 2024. The Annual Action Plan was subsequently approved by HUD on September 10, 2024, as validated by a Funding Approval/Agreement. This plan outlines the intention and use of CDBG funds for Program Year 2024 and is comprised of the eligible activities to be administered by local nonprofit agencies that were approved by Council on July 2, 2024.
CONCLUSION:
The federal approval of the City’s drafted Annual Action Plan is a demonstration that the activities and budget within have met HUD requirements and may be adopted as its Final form.
