Award of 2025 Public Utilities Department Plumbing Maintenance Services Contract to Poehner, Dillman, and Mahalik, Inc. (PDM) in the Amount of $340,220.00
end

BACKGROUND:
The Department of Public Utilities routinely requires the services of a licensed plumber to perform specialized services, inspections, and repairs for City sewer and water infrastructure which include but are not limited to sanitary sewer service line televising, water and sewer service line inspections, and lead water service line repairs. Omega Plumbing, Inc., Joliet, IL $170.61 per hour
CR Leonard Plumbing & Heating $193.00 per hour

PDM has performed plumbing service work in the Joliet area for more than 130 years and has previously provided plumbing work for the Department of Public Utilities. Staff is confident that PDM will provide quality work in a timely manner. Included with this agreement is a one-hour response time requirement for emergency services on a 24-hour basis.
