Summer 2025 Intern Positions

BACKGROUND:
For your consideration are the following unbudgeted summer 2025 Intern positions:
Public Works - Roadways - Summer Laborers (up to 5 positions): These will be part-time seasonal positions (primarily May through August 2025) that will assist with various duties related to maintaining the roadways.
Public Works - Summer Intern (Engineering) (1 position): This will be a part-time seasonal position (primarily May through August 2025) that will assist with data entry associated with water and roadways projects.
IT - Summer Intern (2 positions): This will be a part-time seasonal position (primarily May or June through August 2025) that will assist with various projects and day-to-day tasks such as hardware inventory, data entry/analysis and SharePoint updates.
IT - GIS Summer Intern (1 position): This will be a part-time seasonal position (primarily May or June through August 2025) that will be working with the GIS Team to maintain and work with GIS databases; creating and editing desktop GIS data; creating maps for different departments; working in the field collecting GPS data; and editing City data. They will be utilizing ArcGIS Online to create online maps for City staff and the public.
