Approval of Change Order No. 1 for the 2025 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Program to Pipe View America in the Amount of $82,779.94

BACKGROUND:
On June 3, 2025, the Mayor and City Council awarded a contract for the 2025 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Program, in the amount of $528,650.00, to Pipe View America. Change Order No. 1 is presented to balance quantities and to add scope for sewer cleaning and televising in the Southeast Joliet Sanitary District.
The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
Change Order No. 1, a net increase in the amount of $82,779.94 is a result of the following:
• Balancing of quantities
• Addition of lateral locating for the 2025 Watermain Replacement Projects
• Addition of sewer cleaning and televising in the Southeast Joliet Sanitary District
Funds will be credited to the Water & Sewer Operations Fund (Org 50080020, Object 524200, ($9,280.25)).
Funds will be charged to the PU Grant / Reimbursable Fund / Professional Services (Org 50080000, Object 55720, Project Code 25048, $92,060.19). These charges will be reimbursed to the City by Will County via a Community Development Block Grant.

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve Change Order No. 1, for an increased amount of $82,779.94, for the 2025 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Program on behalf of Pipe View America.
