BACKGROUND:
On June 6, 2023, the Mayor and City Council awarded a Contract for the Combined Sewer Overflow Long Term Control Plan Phase IV - Eastside and Westside Combined Sewer Overflow Regulators, in the amount of $12,628,985.00, to D Construction, Inc. Subsequently, Change Order No. 1 was approved for net increase of $168,441.10.
The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
This project has been completed, inspected, and accepted by the Department of Public Utilities. Change Order No. 2, a net decrease in the amount of ($488,698.15), is a result of the following:
• Reduction of storm sewer work at CSO 12 and CSO 17
• Credit for unused bypass pumping work at CSO 07
• Credit for unused allowances
• Providing a ladder on the southeast corner of CSO 07
• Additional pavement marking work
• Providing an as-built survey of all the structures rims and pipe invert elevations
• Balancing of quantities for final pay application
Funds will be credited for this project to the W&S Improvement Fund (Org 53080000, Object 557200, ($488,698.15)).
Also, Payment No. 7 and Final, in the amount of $847,079.32, is presented for approval on behalf of D Construction, Inc.

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council take the following actions:
1. Approve Change Order No. 2, a decreased amount of ($488,698.15), to the Combined Sewer Overflow Long Term Control Plan Phase IV - Eastside and Westside Combined Sewer Overflow Regulators.
2. Approve Payment No. 7 and Final, in the amount of $847,079.32, on behalf of D Construction, Inc.
