BACKGROUND:
For your consideration is the following unbudgeted Parking Enforcement Officer position and any subsequent vacancies:
Police - Parking Enforcement Officer - Traffic (Position Code #2230): The administration is seeking to fill one full-time PEO. This position checks metered parking areas to detect parking violations and does related work as required.
RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended the Mayor and City Council authorize the City Manager to fill this position as well as any subsequent vacancies that may occur.
