Award of Contract to CDWG for Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure Subscription, Licensing and Hardware Support Renewal in the Amount of $101,687.68
end

BACKGROUND:
Nutanix is the City's modern platform for running our server environment, combining computing power, storage, and virtualization into a single, efficient system. We rely on Nutanix because it provides a stable and secure foundation for city operations, improves performance, streamlines system management, and allows us to easily expand capacity as organizational needs grow.

CONCLUSION:
Renewing the City's Nutanix licensing is necessary to maintain reliable, secure, and fully supported operation of our core server infrastructure. The one-year renewal term totals $101,687.68 and includes required subscriptions for Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure, Unified Storage, and hardware support.

To ensure competitive pricing, this renewal is procured through the Sourcewell-State of Illinois Contract R-257160 which provides government-only discounted rates for software and support services.
