Approval of Change Order No. 1 for the Lois Place Lift Station Rehabilitation to Airys Inc. in the Amount of $20,958.83 and Final Payment No. 4 in the Amount of $48,540.39

BACKGROUND:
On March 18, 2025, the Mayor and City Council awarded a Contract for the Lois Place Lift Station Rehabilitation in the amount of $949,849.00 to Airys Inc.
The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
This project has been completed, inspected, and accepted by the Department of Public Utilities. Change Order No. 1, a net increase in the amount of $20,958.83, is a result of:
• Adjustment of utility site plan due to utility conflicts
• Installation of a 4” PRV in 60-inch precast vault
• 40-feet of DIP with necessary fittings
• Installation of two DIP Tee fittings
• Installation of two 6-inch gate valves in boxes
• Restoration for additional watermain work
• Balancing of quantities
Funds will be credited for this project to the Water & Sewer Improvement Fund / Lift Stations / Construction (Org 50180031, Object 557200, Project 24036, ($52,352.45)) and funds will be charged to the Water & Sewer Improvement Fund / Water / Construction (Org 50180012, Object 557200, Project 26021, $73,311.28).
Also, Payment No. 4 and Final, in the amount of $48,540.39, is presented for approval on behalf of Airy’s Inc.

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council take the following actions:
1. Approve Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $20,958.83, for the Lois Place Lift Station Rehabilitation Project.
2. Approve Payment No. 4 and Final, in the amount of $48,540.39, on behalf of Airys Inc.
