BACKGROUND:
The City of Joliet Facilities Grounds Maintenance contract includes weekly maintenance of 15 different city-owned locations including services of grass cutting, fertilizer application, tree and shrub pruning, mulch applications, litter pickup, weed pulling, spring and fall cleanups, and seasonal flower watering.
The City of Joliet Facilities Grounds Maintenance contract was advertised in the Herald News on Friday, June 5, 2026.
A mandatory pre bid meeting was held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 8:30AM at City Hall with two attendees.
CONCLUSION:
On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00AM; one (1) sealed bid was opened and read in the City Hall Conference Room 1 for the City of Joliet Facilities Grounds Maintenance Contract. The bid summary is as follows:
