Resolution adopting CDBG-CV Agreement $88,000.00; Greater Joliet YMCA

BACKGROUND:
Under Resolution #7858 City of Joliet allocated $155,000.00 towards Greater Joliet YMCA. Resolution #7758 included both Program Year 2021 Community Development Block Funding and COVID-19 Community Development Block Funding.
The Greater Joliet YMCA has requested an amendment to the CDBG-CV Funding of $130,000.00 moving monies from PUBLIC SERVICES to COMMUNITY FACILITIES.
In effort to optimize Community Development Block Grant sub-recipient grant management, each Greater Joliet YMCA project shall have individual resolutions based on National Objective outlined by HUD.
CONCLUSION:
Greater Joliet YMCA will utilize funds for PUBLIC SERVICES at 749 Houbolt Rd, Joliet IL, 60431 by providing the following programs:
• TEEN Achievers Program
• Equitable Communities Initiative
• Safety Around Water Program
