BACKGROUND:
The City is requesting approval of a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement between the City of Joliet and the Joliet Park District.
This agreement establishes a coordinated plan to provide public access to Park District shower facilities at the Nowell Park Recreation Center during emergency situations when the anticipated water outage exceeds twenty-four (24) hours.
The Public Service Committee will review this item.

Based on the above, it is recommended the Mayor and City Council approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement between the City of Joliet and the Joliet Park District (Emergency Shower Facility Access During Extended Water Service Disruptions).
