Change Order No. 1 for the 2024 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Program to National Power Rodding Corp. for a Decreased Amount of ($115,653.90), and Final Payment No. 9 in the Amount of $222,267.76

BACKGROUND:
On May 16, 2024, the Mayor and City Council awarded a Contract for the 2024 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Program, in the amount of $2,428,331.50, to National Power Rodding Corp. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
This project has been completed, inspected, and accepted by the Department of Public Utilities. Change Order No. 1, a net decrease in the amount of ($115,653.90), is a result of:
• Installation of a Pre-liner for segment 2191-18306
• 1 Spot Liner Repair
• Industry Avenue CIPP Installation
• 11 Flat Top Installations on Manhole Structures
• 3 Transition Liners
• Credit on Cementitious Coatings
• Balancing of quantities for final pay application
Funds will be credited for this project to the Water & Sewer Improvement Fund (Org 50180020, Object 557200, ($115,653.90)).
Also, Payment No. 9 and Final, in the amount of $222,267.76, is presented for approval on behalf of National Power Rodding Corp.

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council take the following actions:
1. Approve Change Order No. 1, for a decreased amount of ($115,653.90), to the 2024 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Program.
2. Approve Payment No. 9 and Final, in the amount of $222,267.76, on behalf of National Power Rodding Corp.
