Amendment No. 1 for the Pilcher Park (Highland Avenue) Culvert Project to Willett, Hoffmann & Associates in the amount of $4,987.00

BACKGROUND:
On February 20, 2024, the Mayor and City Council awarded a professional services contract for the Pilcher Park (Highland Avenue) Culvert Project, in the amount of $45,721.00 to Willett, Hofmann & Associates.
Coordination with the Joliet Park District on the location of the culvert outfall has resulted in an easement being required for the installation of the proposed storm sewer. Willett, Hofmann & Associates has been tasked with preparing the easement documentation for review and approval by the Park District. The cost for the preparation of the documents is $4,987.00. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
Amendment No. 1, an addition in the amount of $4,987.00, is for the following items:
1. Temporary & permanent easement plat preparation.
2. Coordination with the City of Joliet and Joliet Park District.
Sufficient funds exist utilizing the Public Works Capital Improvement Fund / Infrastructure (Org 30090270, Object 557200, $4,987.00)

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve Amendment No. 1 for the Pilcher Park (Highland Avenue) Culvert project professional services agreement, in the amount of $4,987.00, on behalf of Willett, Hofmann & Associates.
