BACKGROUND:
The City has continued progress on the Joliet City Square development, including the planned installation of the A/V background music system. As part of the required procurement process, the project scope was issued for public bid under Contract 2981-0526. The bid opportunity was advertised in accordance with City policies, and submissions were accepted through the formal bidding window. Following the closure of that process, one responsive proposal was received that met the specifications for the scope of the project.
This phase supports the broader City Square development by installing the initial audio, surveillance, and related infrastructure needed to operate the background music system and to accommodate future expansions of the City’s audiovisual systems.
CONCLUSION:
