Resolution Approving an Easement Agreement for the Washington Street Water Main Improvement Project at Hickory Creek

BACKGROUND:
The Washington Street Water Main Improvement project is part of the 2026 Water Main Improvement Program. To construct this project, temporary and permanent easements are required for the water main that will cross Hickory Creek just south of Washington Street, on the southeast side.
The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
An appraisal was completed showing the value of the temporary and permanent public utility easements is $2,750.00. The owners of PINs 30-07-15-212-004-0000 and 30-07-15-212-005-0000, Jose Alfredo Rodriguez, Alfredo Rodriguez, and Maria L. Morua de Rodriguez, have agreed to accept the appraised value for the easements.
Funds will be charged to the Water Main Replacement Fund (Org 53880000, Object 557200, $2,750.00).

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve the attached resolution accepting the easement agreement for the Washington Street Water Main Improvement project at Hickory Creek.
