Request for Authorization to Approve Change Order No. 2 to Sierra ITS for Information Technology Contract Services in the Amount of $34,000.00

BACKGROUND:
The Information Technology department utilizes contract services to satisfy the need for infrastructure and application support. This approach, in use since 2011, provides the most flexible method of meeting the City’s IT support requirements. Through this process, IT has improved the effectiveness of IT support services for the city. The current contract with Sierra ITS was approved at the January 17, 2023, City Council Meeting.
CONCLUSION:
Due to unexpected staff turnover IT has required additional services from Sierra ITS which will require additional funding to maintain until the end of 2023.
Sufficient funds exist utilizing the IT Professional Services Budget (Org 04001000, Object 523300, $34,000.00)
