BACKGROUND:
The Public Works facility located on Cedarwood is a critical component to operations. The facility does not have an existing generator and during emergency situations this facility serves as the command post for response to Public Works operations. It is crucial to have a dependable generator to provide backup power when needed to maintain Public Works operations from the facility.
CONCLUSION:
The City of Joliet is seeking approval of the purchase and installation for The Public Works Cedarwood facility Generator. Sourcewell pricing was used to secure pricing.
