Award of Contract for the Ontario Street Drainage Improvements Project to PT Ferro Construction Co. in the Amount of $132,830.03

BACKGROUND:
The Ontario Street Drainage Improvements project is planned for construction in 2026 and includes storm sewer improvements west of McKinley Avenue between Ontario Street and Singleton Place.
The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
On September 22, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., eight (8) sealed bids were received for the Ontario Street Drainage Improvements Project. The bid summary is as follows:

The low bid by PT Ferro Construction Co., in the amount of $132,830.03, is 0.38% over the engineer’s estimate. Sufficient funds exist utilizing the Public Works/Capital Improvement Funds (Org 30090270, Object 557200, $132,830.03).

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council award the Contract for the Ontario Street Drainage Improvements Project, in the amount of $132,830.03, on behalf of PT Ferro Construction Co.
