Approval of Change Order No. 2 for the 2023 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Program on behalf of National Power Rodding Corp., for a Deduction in the Amount of ($20,138.33), and Final Payment No. 9 in the Amount of $58,942.44

BACKGROUND:
On May 16, 2023, the Mayor and City Council awarded a contract for the 2023 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Program, in the amount of $717,260.25, to National Power Rodding Corp. Subsequently, Change Order No. 1 was approved for net increase of $45,000.00.
The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
This project has been completed, inspected, and accepted by the Department of Public Utilities. Change Order No. 2, a net decrease in the amount of ($20,138.33), is a result of the following:
• Emergency Service Grouting and Manhole Grouting
• Balancing of quantities for final pay application.
Funds will be credited for this project to the W&S Improvement Fund (Org 50080020, Object 524200, Project 23034, ($20,138.33)).
Also, Payment No. 9 and Final, in the amount of $58,942.44, is presented for approval on behalf of National Power Rodding Corp.

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council take the following actions:
1. Approve Change Order No. 2, for a decreased amount of ($20,138.33), to the 2023 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Program.
2. Approve Payment No. 9 and Final, in the amount of $58,942.44, on behalf of National Power Rodding Corp.
