BACKGROUND:
On January 4, 2022, the Mayor and City Council approved a Professional Engineering Services contract for the Centralized Traffic Management System (CTMS) Improvement Project - Phase A to Iteris Inc. in an amount not to exceed $364,397.00. Subsequently, the Mayor and City Council have approved Amendment Numbers 1 and 2.

The Public Service Committee will review this matter.

CONCLUSION:
This professional services contract includes Phase I, Phase II and Phase III engineering services to complete the initial project development, the preparation of contract documents for the implementation / construction, as well as construction oversite. Iteris Inc. has completed the initial project development that will be used with all future phases of the project. Iteris Inc. has also prepared the contract documents used to bid and award the construction contract for the CTMS Phase A and Phase B projects and is completing the contract documents for Phase C. Amendment No. 3, in the amount of $14,999.24 is the value of those additional services.

The Services will be added to the original contract utilizing time and material rates at a total cost not to exceed $14,999.24, resulting in a total contract cost of $711,512.10.
