Resolution Accepting a Temporary Cul-De-Sac easement agreement at 2903 Schweitzer Road for the H&K Subdivision Lot 1 - 2800 Schweitzer Road Development

BACKGROUND:

As a part of the 2800 Schweitzer Road development project by CenterPoint Joliet Terminal Railroad LLC, a temporary cul-de-sac will be required until a further road extension is completed. This cul-de-sac will extend into the private property at 2903 Schweitzer Road (PIN 05-06-36-301-002-0000). The City of Joliet has required that a temporary cul-de-sac easement be granted by the developer for construction of the cul-de-sac and to maintain safe and proper access to the site.

 

CONCLUSION:

Joliet Intermodal Holdings LLC, as owner of 2903 Schweitzer Road (PIN 05-06-36-301-002-0000) and on behalf of its sole member CenterPoint Joliet Terminal Railroad LLC, has agreed to grant the easement and has prepared the attached Resolution and Agreement accepting the temporary easement necessary.

Based on the above, it is recommended that the attached Resolution be approved authorizing the Administration to accept the temporary cul-de-sac easement document on behalf of the City of Joliet.
