Ordinance Accepting a Plat of Easement at 2901 Channahon Road for the Crow Joliet Trucking Terminal Development

BACKGROUND:
As a part of the 2901 Channahon Rd. development project by Crow Holdings, and in alignment with the City of Joliet’s Subdivision Regulations, this site will require a stormwater detention easement for future access and maintenance. This easement will cover all proposed stormwater facilities onsite. The Public Service Committee reviewed this memo at the August 16, 2021 Meeting and recommended for approval by the full Council.
CONCLUSION:
Crow Holdings has agreed to grant the easement and has prepared the attached Plat of Easement for City of Joliet acceptance.

Based on the above, it is recommended that the attached Resolution be approved authorizing the Administration to accept the stormwater detention easement document on behalf of the City.
