Change Order No. 4 for the 2020 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Program to Performance Pipelining Inc. in the amount of $28,508.55

BACKGROUND:
On January 7, 2020, the Mayor and City Council awarded a Contract for the 2020 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Program, in the amount of $7,870,480.96, to Performance Pipelining Inc. Subsequently, the Mayor and City Council have approved Change Orders No 1 - 3 in the amount of $192,214.95. The Public Service Committee reviewed this memo at the September 7, 2021 meeting and recommended for approval by the full Council.
CONCLUSION:
Change Order No. 4, a net increase in the amount of $28,508.55, is for the following work:
• Additional lateral preparation work for CIPP
• Additional topside manhole work
• Modification of 1,300 vertical feet of 36-inch cementitious coating work to 48-inch cementitious coating work
• Balancing of quantities
Funds will be charged to the Water & Sewer Improvement Fund / IEPA Loan / Construction (Org 51680000, Object 557200, $28,508.55.

Based on the above, the Administration recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve Change Order No. 4, a net increase in the amount of $28,508.55, on behalf of Performance Pipelining Inc.
