Adopt a Sub-grantee policy for the Bureau of Justice Assistance Grant

BACKGROUND:
The City of Joliet approved a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance at the August 3, 2021 meeting. The City of Joliet plans on using these funds to purchase six speed trailers. Will County is a sub-recipient of this grant and plans on spending the funds on NARCAN boxes. The Bureau of Justice Assistance requires that the City has a sub-recipient policy to continue receiving these funds.

It is recommended that the attached resolution adopting the Sub-Grantee policy for the Bureau of Justice Assistance Grant be approved.
