BACKGROUND:
For your consideration are the following positions and any resulting subsequent vacancies:
Community Development - Building and Grounds - Custodian (Part-Time) (#7125): The administration is seeking to fill one (1) position due to a recent retirement. This position performs routine duties in the cleaning and maintenance of City building and grounds.
Equipment Operator II AFSCME - Public Works - Roadways (Position Code #2091): The administration is seeking to fill one (1) position due to a pending disability. This position performs skilled work in the operation of specialized public works and street maintenance heavy automotive equipment in varied construction and maintenance tasks.

It is recommended the Mayor and City Council authorize the City Manager to fill these positions as well as any subsequent vacancies that may occur.
