2023 Roadway Reconstruction Program

end

BACKGROUND:

The Department of Public Works proposes to include an allocation of $1,350,000.00 of Motor Fuel Tax funds in the 2023 Budget for the reconstruction of roadways.  This Roadway Reconstruction Program will be comparable to the 2022 program where the streets to be reconstructed are typically neighborhood residential or collector streets.  The Department of Public Works intends to survey and draft existing conditions for the following streets beginning in fall 2022.  This will allow project design and the IDOT approval process to occur in spring of 2023, with construction proposed to take place in 2023.
