BACKGROUND:
The Professional Engineering Services contract for the Theodore Street Widening Improvements Project - Project 1A (Drauden Road - Wesmere Parkway) is being funded by REBUILD ILLINOIS bond funds. The project scope is being expanded to include the intersection of Theodore Street and River Road. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
Funding for this project will come from REBUILD ILLINOIS bond funds. The State of Illinois requires the Mayor and City Council to approve a Funding Resolution. Please find attached a Supplemental Funding Resolution appropriating an additional $79,417.00 for the Theodore Street Widening Improvements Project - Project 1A (Drauden Road - Wesmere Parkway).

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve the Supplemental Funding Resolution appropriating REBUILD ILLINOIS bond funds.
