BACKGROUND:
The City of Joliet has hired WGI Inc. to provide overall management and coordination of the Ottawa Street parking deck assessment/repair design and a parking management assessment for the downtown area. This amendment to the professional services agreement with WGI Inc. will provide specific coordination and assistance with tasks that will include the removal of on-street parking meters, implementation of new parking time limits, parking enforcement, and parking garage technology upgrades. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
The professional services agreement with WGI Inc. will be increased utilizing the time and material rates as submitted at a total cost not to exceed $10,000.00.
Sufficient funds are available utilizing Parking Operations Fund / Professional Services (Org 52090020, Object 523300, $10,000.00).

Based on the above, the Administration recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement for Assessment of the Parking Facilities in the Downtown Area, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00, to WGI Inc.
