Supplemental Resolution Appropriating Motor Fuel Tax Funds Associated with an Intergovernmental Agreement with the State of Illinois Department of Transportation for the US Route 30 (I-55 - IL Route 59) Roadway Improvements Project - MFT Section No. 14-00476-00-PV in the amount of $447.56

BACKGROUND:
The Illinois Department of Transportation has completed roadway reconstruction improvements to US Route 30 between Interstate 55 and Illinois Route 59 and final billing has been received for the City share of the project. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.
CONCLUSION:
Funding for the City’s share of this project will come from Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Funds. Since Motor Fuel Tax Funds are used for this project, the State of Illinois requires the Mayor and City Council to approve a MFT Resolution. Please find the attached Motor Fuel Tax Resolution appropriating an additional $447.56 to this project.

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve the MFT Resolution appropriating Motor Fuel Tax Funds.
