BACKGROUND:
On Tuesday, January 18, 2022 the Mayor and City Council awarded a contract to Cady Aquastore, in the amount of $209,738.00, for the repairs to the No. 2 and No. 3 Sludge Storage Tanks at the Eastside Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Public Service Committee will review this matter.

CONCLUSION:
During the draining and inspection of the No. 2 storage tank, a hole in the west access hatch was discovered. Change Order No. 1, a net increase in the amount of $8,700.00, is for replacing the west access hatch on the No. 2 tank.

RECOMMENDATION:

Based on the above, it is recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve Change Order No. 1, a net increase in the amount of $8,700.00, for the No. 2 and No. 3 Sludge Storage Tank repairs at the Eastside Treatment Plant project to Cady Aquastore.
